You pay per workspace, not per site, and every plan holds many websites. The Free plan is $0 for up to 20 websites on a free dotsy.site address; paid plans start at $15 a month (Core) when you want sites on your own domains.

Do I pay per site?
No. You pay once for your workspace, and every website in it shares the plan's page views and storage. The plan decides how many websites you can have and how many of them can go live on domains you own. Sites without their own domain live on a free yoursite.dotsy.site address.

What does 5, 10 or 50 sites cost?
It depends on how many of them need your own domain. Prices are per month.
- 5 sites on dotsy.site addresses: $0 on Free.
- 5 sites, 3 of them on your own domains: $15 on Core.
- 5 sites, all on your own domains: $25. That's Core ($15, 3 domains) plus 2 extra domains at $5 each.
- 10 sites, all on your own domains: $39 on Studio, which includes 10. Core with 7 extra domains would be $50.
- 50 sites on dotsy.site addresses: $15 on Core, because Free stops at 20 websites.
- 50 sites, 10 on your own domains: $39 on Studio.
- 50 sites, 25 on your own domains: $99 on Agency.
Rule of thumb: with up to 7 sites on your own domains, Core plus extra domains is cheapest. At 8 or more, Studio costs less.
A site that answers on both example.com and www.example.com counts as one domain.
When do I need a paid plan?
Free is enough to build and publish websites on dotsy.site addresses. Move to Core or up when you want:
- A site on your own domain, with SSL included.
- More than 20 websites, or more page views or storage than Free's 50k views and 1 GB.
- More than 10,000 pages on one site. Paid plans have no page limit.
- Password-protected sites.
- A/B tests (1 site on Core, 3 on Studio, 10 on Agency).
- Staging: changes wait as drafts until you publish. On Free, saved changes go live straight away.
- 30-day version history.
- No dotsy badge. Free sites show a small dotsy badge.
Every plan, Free included, has unlimited users and collections, works with any AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and more), and includes forms, built-in SEO, cookie-free analytics, image optimization and redirects. dotsy has no AI of its own, so you never buy AI credits from us.
What are add-ons?
Add-ons let you grow without changing plans. They're for paid plans only.
- Extra custom domain: $5/mo each, for one more site on a domain you own.
- Extra page views: $5 per 100k, only when you go over your plan.
- Extra storage: $5 per 20 GB a month.
- Site database: $3 per site a month. A searchable inbox for form replies, and it keeps large collections fast (recommended past 5,000 items in one collection).
- A/B testing: $3 per site a month, for sites beyond your plan's A/B test sites.
There's no add-on for more websites: past your plan's website count, move up a plan.
What happens if I go over my views?
Your sites stay online. dotsy never takes a site offline for being popular. We email you at 80% and 100% of your plan's monthly views.
- On Free: your sites keep running and you aren't charged. If that's your normal traffic, Core includes more views.
- On paid plans: extra views are billed at $5 per 100k on your next invoice. To cap the bill, turn on a spend limit: extra views then aren't billed, and your sites show the dotsy badge until next month.
Can I change or cancel anytime?
Yes. Change plans in Plan & usage in your workspace settings. An upgrade starts as soon as the payment goes through. When you move to a smaller plan or back to Free, you keep your current plan until the billing period ends. Nothing is deleted and your sites stay online.
FAQ
Can I make a second Free workspace to get more sites?
No. Each person can own one Free workspace. Workspaces other people invite you to don't count. For more than 20 websites, move to Core.
Does dotsy sell domain names?
No. Register your domain with any registrar, then connect it to your site. "3 sites on your own domains" means three of your sites can go live on domains you own, not three free domains.
Are pages really unlimited?
On paid plans, yes. Free sites can have up to 10,000 pages each. Collections and users are unlimited on every plan.
