How we estimate
We count what a browser downloads on up to 4 pages. Your other pages may be lighter or heavier.
- First visit: an empty browser, scrolled to the bottom so every image loads. Repeat visit: the same page again, with files the browser already saved. We price the first visit, so the bill won’t surprise you. If lots of your visitors come back, it’s lower; the small print says how low.
- It’s an estimate. Real bandwidth also includes bots, repeat visits, CDN caching, autoplay video and other pages.
- Webflow and Framer GB include bot traffic. Dotsy counts humans only.
- 1 GB here is 1,000,000,000 bytes, the way Webflow and Framer count it.
- Plans: we pick the cheapest plan that covers your traffic, with add-ons. Dotsy never bills bandwidth; fair use applies to file hosting and large downloads.
Questions
Why is my Webflow bandwidth so high?
Webflow counts every byte its servers send: images, videos, fonts and scripts, for every visit, bots included. A few big background images on a busy page add up fast. Check your site above to see your heaviest files.
Does Framer charge for bandwidth overage?
Yes. Framer Pro includes 100 GB a month, then charges $40 for each extra 100 GB, up to 2 TB in total. Past that, you need their Enterprise plan. Prices from framer.com/pricing, checked on 24 Oct 2026.
What’s a page view?
One person opening one page. Open another page, or come back tomorrow, and that’s another page view. Dotsy counts page views from people, not bots.
Does Dotsy charge for bandwidth?
No. Dotsy plans include page views, not GB, and we never bill bandwidth. Fair use applies to file hosting and large downloads.
Why do you price the first visit?
A first visit downloads everything, so it’s the safe number to plan with. A repeat visit reuses files the browser already saved, so it’s much lighter. If most of your visitors come back, your real bill is lower, and the small print under each price shows how low it could go.
